Ephemeral is the late afternoon sun. In autumn and spring colors are fleeting. Light passes over all life, a gentle hand grazing the tops of wheatgrass. Such a romance. Infatuated until dusk when a sliver of light caresses the earth and leaves me standing in the field.
Wonderful images Noelle. The light is magnificent.
Thank you, my friend. Have been planning to get back to your page for your lovely discussion, but just haven’t made it back. It looks wonderfully lively.
Great light, very beautiful series!
Thank you so much, my friend. You are the master of light, so I take the compliment richly.
You captured a beautiful light..my favourite being the third one
Thank you, my friend. I love capturing afternoon sunlight. Mornings are lovely, too, but there is something rich about sunsets I can’t get enough of. So delighted for your visit.
Really like these photos and the way you use the light.to express your self.
I could truly spend hours walking trails and open fields. So much to see.
The poem is so beautiful. Felt like I was there.
So much to see in an open field. Ducks in the marsh pond. Bees looking for winter spots for sleep and dragonflies making their final flights. I could spend hours on a trail. Thank you for stopping in, my friend.
